What this web app can and cannot do

  • It can provide gesture-based playback, direct media playback, and app-shell offline support.
  • It cannot change iPhone system brightness or system volume. Brightness is simulated with an overlay.
  • It cannot force every website to stay embedded. Many sites block iframe loading or cross-origin control.
  • It saves compatible direct files for offline playback when the browser is allowed to download them.
